This hole can easily be a card wrecker! Threading your tee shot through the 'eye of the needle' is the biggest challenge here. Although the hole is short, it has ruined many a scorecard from a mis-aligned/mis-struck tee shot.
The conservative play from the tee, is to take a club that travels approximately 150-170y. This will then leave an approach shot of less than 100y in length and give you a great opportunity to attack the hole from here.
The aggressive play from the tee, requires a shot with 'right-to-left' curvature, with a club that travels 240 yards. Remember the greenside bunkers, and the out of bounds on the left of the hole and behind the green, will swallow up an errant attack from the tee.
